Noble Clays' microSPHERE is clay designed to create 3D forms. Similar to cork clay in concept but with the pliability of clay.
When dry, it becomes delicate and hard at the same time like pumice stone. It can be sawn, cut and grinded.
microSPHERE when subjected to high temperatures scatters like sand. Easily removable from the form. Ideal for large forms. Perfect to create framework. Allows you to create hollow balls - just cover prepared dried microSPHERE ball with clay, burn in the kiln and then just pour out microSPHERE.
Non-toxic. Very easy to work with. Create your shape with microSPHERE and it will become the internal framework of Your piece.
Instructions
1. Shape clay to desired form
2. Dry on hot plate or other method you use. Do finial shaping,carving or cutting.
3. Build your project around microSPHERE form and fire as per clay requirements.
