I received a free package of Metal Magic silver clay a couple of years ago as a door prize at a metal clay conference. I'm working diligently to get pieces made for an upcoming trunk show and decided to try it out. While the package seemed rock hard, it softened up when I opened it and it was easy to work the clay. Clay was very soft and flexible with great working time. It took amazingly fine detail and fired up beautifully just following the package directions. The shrinkage rate of 25% worked well with the fine detail I was doing for a great result. I want more!

I'm In Love!
I was leery about trying this clay, but I was so happy with the results! I love working with it...it stays workable longer than PMC3. I dried it in the toaster oven per directions, and fired it at the same schedule I use for PMC...which is a bit hotter and a bit longer than required. I think it's harder after firing than PMC3, but I still wire brushed, hammer hardened and tumbled the pieces. The results were amazing! I'm sold...ordering more now!

Great Value
I had used PMC or PMC3 for years but the price was great on Metal Magic and I gave it a try. I had so much less problems working with this clay than ever before. I know I have more experience now but the clay really looked great. I will order this clay in the future.

Surprizingly Good!
I bought when on sale, but was leery upon opening. The clay had a softer, spongier feel initially but firmed up when working with it. It reminded me of what double-bubble chewing gum feels like when chewing: too soft initially, but after 30 seconds of working it, it becomes the perfect texture to do what is planned of it. I thought the clay felt a bit strange too. It felt a tiny bit less smooth (compared to PMC3) yet also a bit slickish (like maybe a touch more glycerin or whatever is in metal clay?). But it did great when using textures and a tad stickier in the silicon molds (not bad). It fired fantastically, and I could not see any difference (postfired) in this clay than PMC3 (other than shrinkage, which I alloted for). I recommend this, and it is worth the price!
