FYI .999 Silver Clay

FYI .999 Silver Metal Clay is an environmentally conscious, wallet friendly, professional artist approve metal clay. It consists of fine silver powder and water to form a clay consistancy.

Like all metal clay it can be rolled, carved, cut, shaped and fashioned into anything your mind comes up with hence FYI or "For Your Inspiration"

FYI Silver Metal Clay really begins to stand out from the rest when it comes to price. It also features the highest shrinkage rate of any premium clay out there. At approximately 15-17% you can really do amazing high detail pieces with this medium.

Firing instructions:

1 Completely dry 
2 Place in cold kiln
3 Support as necessary
4 Fire at full ramp between 1550f to 1650f for 30 to 120 minutes depending on size of piece.
5 Piece can be quenched or air cooled after firing completes
6 Polish, patina, drill or embellish your pure silver treasure as necessary

 Torch

Torch fire to an orange and bright red but no further for 10 minutes on fire brick or open flame safe surface.
