![]() | We start with modeling clay or polymer clay for our texture building surface. There should be enough that when flattened to 4-5mm thick it is larger then desired final texture.
![]() | In this step we collect all the different items and materials that we are going to use to compose our texture.
![]() | Using the materials we collected in last step arrange them in desirable layout. You should be sinking items halfway into working surface material.
![]() | Using your favorite 2 part cold mold material create 2 equal amounts of each parts. In these pictures we are usingSiligumwhich makes really high detail molds with great working characteristics.
![]() | Knead both balls together till you have consistant color.
![]() | Press mold material onto newly created texture surface.
![]() | Gently roll out mold material evenly over texture surface.
![]() | After allowing to cure for about 10 minutes remove mold material. You now have a one of a kind texture mold that can be used in your metal clay projects. |
