Our pendant cutters offer exceptional precision and ease of use. Designed to cut out pendant shapes with a built-in bail/hard point ring, they are ready for a jump ring or swivel bail. Bail ring is perfectly center indented for easy completion with small drill bit of you choice. These cutters produce incredibly clean cuts, eliminating the need for needle tools and edge clean-up. Made from biocompatible material in the USA, they ensure safety and quality.
For best results, lubricate the cutter with slip before use to prevent clay from sticking.

Creating a swivel bail with these cutters
Cut the Pendant:
First, use your preferred cutter size to cut out your pendant with a seamless bail ring.
Cut the Bail Shape:
Use our fantastic selection of bail cutters to shape the bail or make you own.
Fold the Bail:
Fold the bail over something slightly thicker than the pendant.
Dry the Bail:
Allow the folded bail to dry completely.
Drill Holes:
Once dry, use a hand held drill bit (a 2mm bit is a good size) to drill through the back of the bail and slightly into the front of the bail.
Create the Pin:
Using a snake roller or a similar tool, create a small pin approximately 2mm in diameter.
Cut the Pin to Size
Cut the pin to the appropriate length to fit through the folded bail and built-in ring on the pendant.
Insert the Pin:
Insert the pin through the back of the folded and drilled bail, then through the ring on the pendant.
Secure the Pin:
Attach the pin using slip to ensure it bonds and stays in place.
Dry and Finish:
Allow the piece to dry completely, then sand it smooth.
Fire according to the clay's instructions, and you'll have a pretty cool articulated bail!
