I really enjoyed working with this clay. It's denser than art clay silver formulas. It seems to dry out on the edges fairly quickly, but just keep it moist while you work. I use a cosmetic sponge that I keep floating in my water bowl, and just swipe the edges frequently as I work. I've made 2 rings out of this stuff, and I am VERY IMPRESSED with the strength. I made one ring with wings, long wings, one going north, one going south, and the wings pasted onto the ring beautifully. After firing using the enclosed recommended chart, the wings were so solid & hard, I could barely bend them. It is tough; my daughter is in the medical field and she wears the ring EVERY DAY, has caught the wings on bed sheets, with no bending. IT IS TUFF STUFF and I highly recommend it for your rings. It is more difficult to finish / polish after firing, so do everything you can before you fire it. Makes it easier to finish afterwards. Let it cool in the carbon by itself, for less fire scale. I use my dremel and a polishing wheel to do the outside, works nicely, the inside I have to polish w fine sandpaper by hand. I am sold on this product!
